Well Hello There…

Yup, I’m back! Turns out finding your groove in the blogging life is a little challenging…Who knew (well I’m sure all the blogger-type people out there did)?? Any who, I am back at it and trying to figure this thing out a little better.

What if we start with a little catch up on life?

Christmas happened since last we chatted and our family had a pretty good one. We were able to travel to south Georgia to our family home and spend some much needed time with our parents and the rest of the family. We had good food and great laughs if you will let me wax-poetic in my simple way.

Christmas came, it came just the same. It came with packages, boxes, and bags. It came with ribbon, bows, and bags. It came with laughter, smiles, and some tears. It came with memories to cherish for years. It came with stories of the past, our precious memories, they are what lasts. We talked of the loved ones we lost and with the new ones we’ve gained. So though Christmas can change, at the heart it stays just the same. We remember our Savior, sent down from on high and hold close to our loved ones, these are our reasons. So I hope Christmas found you with laughter and good cheer to out weigh all your troubles and tears. Keep the true meaning of CHRISTmas and lots of love in your heart as you enter a new year with a happy, fresh start.

Then, BAM!!!! It was a brand new year and nothing says bright shiny new year like an upper respiratory infection BAM!!! So I toasted the New Year with shots of NyQuil and the munchies of a steroid shot. Yup, be jealous, wild times. HAHA!

But better days are always just around the corner and HERE we are! So I pledge to do better with my planning, budgeting, blogging and life. I hope you had a blessed Christmas, and are well into a productive happy new year. Let’s not let life just be old hat, let’s instead savor the moments that make life so wonderful.

Also, I got an electric pressure cooker thingy ma-bobber! I’m looking forward to playing with that and sharing whatever messes may come.
